Having problems with your 1997 Dodge Intrepid ?

My key get's stuck in ignition often, but not always...

\015 The key get's stuck in the ignition about 60% of the time (I have 3 different keys..) If one key is turned one direction and used, it comes out more often than the others. Could it be I need a new key (re-keyed) or do I have to replace the entire ignition?\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 11-12-2017

Answers :

Need new ignition
If steering wheel is left full turn to one side, it puts pressure on the key. When you try to start, hold full pressure on the steering wheel to the left or right to relieve pressure on the key. Then the key should turn.
\012Hope this helps.
