Having problems with your 1997 Dodge Dakota ?

1997 air conditioner was flushed, checked out at Jiffy Lube and then refilled. It worked great for about a week or two and now only blows out slightly cooler air. What's happened?

Answers :

The system more than likely has a leak. If the system is empty it will need to be charged and leak checked. There are electronic testers for this. If a leak can't be found, tracer dye can be added to the system. If the evap is leaking it may be diificult to pinpoint as this is in the heater box under the dash.
