Having problems with your 1996 Pontiac Sunfire ?

Starter issues I've got a '96 to '98 (not sure which right now) 4 cyl auto. My wife used it fine yesterday, but now it will not start. No loose connections, fuses look fine. No power to dash or radio, headlights work. No sound no nothing when you turn the key. (No clicking from starter.) Any suggestions?

Hey Thanks
\015\012I really appreciate the help.
\015\012As it happens, I have done that and the battery is in great shape.
\015\012Like I said...Everything looks good and test good just it has happened 3 times.
\015\012Light to interior cabin and glove box, but nothing on dash and absolutely nothing happening from ignition switch out to starter!
\015\012Do you have any other suggestions?
\015\012cheers and thanks again
I would first verify battery power, Once you have proper power there, either via a good trickle charger or battery replacement, I would check the fuseable links mounted right at the "hot" side of the starter. Just follow the 4 gauge wire from the battery to the 15mm/13mm nut on the starter. Make sure you have power to both sides of the wire with a test light. THis is the only wire that supplies the power for the relay fuse box. So either your not making power, or the power isn't reaching this box. Let me know how you make out.
