Having problems with your 1996 Ford Crown Victoria ?

Side Mirrors will adjust side to side but not up and down.

There are two tiny motors in each mirror. one for up/down. One for side to side. They have jack screws (plastic) that fit into the motors.

\015\012You can manually put your hands on either side of the mirror and force adjust it. If you hear a ratcheting sound, the jack screws are OK. Then repeat with hands on top and bottom.

\015\012If you hear ratcheting and mirror stays where you stop it, that means one of the motors is bad. The motor assembly is available as a separate part.
