Fuel problems 1999 Grand Prix GTP 3800 Supercharged VIN 1: car starts, but shuts down within 10 seconds. You can see the fuel pressure drop within those 10 seconds. If I flutter the throttle, the fuel pressure will jump back up to 50lbs & back down to 0-10. But, you can keep the car running by doing that. I have replaced the fuel filter & helped a little bit, but still shuts down. Replaced fuel pressure regulator & fuel pump & oil pressure switch & still nothing. HELP....

2000 chev blazer 4.3 4wd CSEFI won,t start have spark, pump is running,fuel pressure is 55-60 as specified. Tried the crank sensor with no result is it possible that the fuel pressure regulator is not giving the correct fuel to the injectors or might it be the fuel meter body. Something is not letting the injectors spray fuel. It will fire if fuel is sprayed into throttle body,all wiring looks good, ran fine before this occured. I have a 2001 Chevy blazer extreme, I have replaced everything. Fuel pump, filter, and fuel injection spider. None of these were the problem, when I turn the key to the on position, the fuel pressure gauge climbs upto 2 psi. After the pump cycles the pressure drops to 0. If I prime the system the pressure will climb to 10 psi, then promptly die off as the engine stalls out again. I have changed the pump twice just to find out the problem still exists. What am I missing? I have no engine codes th

I have a 2002 Chevy Blazer. It died driving down the road. I thought I was out of gas. I have since replaced the coil, the rotor and cap on the distributor. I have spark. I used a fuel pressure tester and I am getting 100 lbs of pressure at the top of the engine. The engine cranks, but does not kick over. It appears as though it has no gas. I think it has to do with the injectors. It is a CSEFI type system. I am thinking it might be the Fuel Pressure regulator or the Fuel Meter Body. With none o

I have a 2000 chevy blazer , before start up , I register 40 psi of fuel (requires atleast 65psi) so I have to dump fuel into the throtle body to start it..While it is running, IT registers 52 psi of pressure (in the normal range) is this a problem with the fuel pressure regulator, or something else ? It has a new fuel pump and filter, new cap and rotor, and plugs..and yes it has plenty of gas in it.

When i replaced the fuel pump i drained all the old fuel out of the tank, then soaked up what fuel was left in the tank before i installed the new pump with shop rags, filled it up with fresh gas after installing everything, test drove and still have problem. pl

I have 97 blazer with 4.3.had a deadshort to 5v reference wire that controls tps, air temp sensor circuit short was located a fuel level buffer module. relaced circuit board ....this resolved the low or no voltage issue. the problem now is that the car will crank, has spark and fuel but will not fire. i have replaced fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator and tested for voltage pulses at injectors.... any thoughts

I have a 97 blazer and i changed the fuel filter and i can hear the fuel pump turn on but it still wont stay started. i also put some fuel in the carb and it started for about 5 seconds and then it wont stay started i looked up some stuff online and think it might be the fuel pressure regulator because it is connected to vacuum and the first problems i had happened right after i braked really hard

I have a 1995 Chevy S10 Blazer, V6, 4.3L Vortex and I have been having a lot of problems with it. The major one I am having right now is trying to keep it running. 2002 chevy Blazer hard starting did change fuel pressure regulator and fuel filter when we spray starting fluid in throttle body it will start.
