Having problems with your 1995 Subaru Legacy ?

Greetings, Damsel in distress ! at a loss... need to drive 1000km on tuesady ! As follows: 4 days ago while on the highway, all of a sudden the "Height HI" indicator light started blinking very fast, flickering - moments later the car started feeling very bumpy, crazy bumpy. Upon stopping the car I noticed car was very low almost scraping the tires... Obviously by changing the fuse, it seemed to fix the problem...and did, and will likely work again with the same fix, but will also likely blow the fuse again. The fuse is the weakest link in the circuit and when a problem exists, will blow rather than burning something else up. So, the problem lies in the circuitry that the fuse is protecting. If you are mechanically inclined or know someone that is, you or they can trace the wiring and look for the short, or the problem could exist with the part that it controls...in this case the pump that changes your ride height. Pay particular attention to grounding wires and look for bare spots in the wiring as well. Grounds could have become loose or have gotten corroded. Good Luck. I hope this is helpful!
