1995 Grand cherokee shakes. where can I find the sensors

First thing you need to do there is check all the vacuum lines to make sure all are attached and not cracked or broken. As far as sensors, most are on the intake manifold except the o2 on the exhaust and the temp sensor on the upper coolant inlet on the engine. What you want to do is have a parts house do a scan (most larger outlets do free scans) and buy a chilton or haynes manual to decipher the results. Manual will also give instructions on individual tests for sensors etc and instructions for R&R.
It is also a good idea to check all your spark plugs. Any that are severely worn, oil or fuel fouled etc can give you an idea about what's causing the shaking. Also check the distributor cap, rotor and wires. Old ones can cause mis or cross firing between cylinders. While you have the cap removed, push the shaft the rotor is attached to from side to side. If you find excessive play there the distributor itself may need replacement.
As thundergod said check the plugs, wires and the distributor for wear..but in the 95 the o2 sensors dont play much role..Or if your in a quite bad luck like i had can be a head gasket pressure leak..But do check the injectors first..Regards..

The original motor in my 93 grand cherokee 5.2L seized in June. I bought a good junk yard 5.2L motor from a 98 Grand Cherokee and swapped over the 93 intake and all related electronics. The engine is back in, all sensors connected, etc etc, the engine starts but dies as soon as I put the car in gear, or even step on the brakes. Vacuum is 15 inches of mercury which seems a bit low. Should be around 18-20. I cant find any leaks. What else can I check? Would thin oil ( contaminated with gas from fl

Sometimes my 97 Jeep Grand Cherokee Loredo stalls, then takes up to an hour before it will start again - sometimes it will start right away. I've been told to check the fuel system, others say it could be a sensor or an air leak - the guys at the parts stores haven't got a clue, but they seem sympathetic when they find out what kind of vehicle I have - I love my jeep, but I'm dumping more $ into it than it's worth just to keep it running - what should I do?

ECM plug I have 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I had a ptoblem wit it starting and after changeing the Crank sensor and checking the fuel presseure which is good. It sounds like you have already located the problem, now you need to do something about it. Likely, by being partially unplugged, moisture and other bad stuff has gotten into the ecm connector. You need to carefully inspect all prongs and prong recei ... 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee
