This indicates a transmission problem. Honda recommends you take it easy accelerating and driving until the vehicle is checked for problems. You can scan for codes on this model by 'jumping' the wire connection on the passenger side of the car, under or next to the kick panel (plastic cover on right side of your foot as seated on Pass. side) The wire looks like it should be plugged into something, it will just be hanging there. Use a wire or paper clip to 'jump' the connection (wire or clip just bent in a U shape pushed into connection). Turn the key on, but do not start the car. If there are any codes stored on the cars computer, it will light will begin to flash. Count the # of flashes, which will repeat over and over. Codes 1 thru 9 are indicated by short flashes, 2 digit codes are indicated by a long flash, followed by short flashes for the 2nd digit. If there is more than one code, it will be separated by a pause. Let me know if any codes are present so I can help further. Note that there may be no codes, and this could be a transmission control module problem, which would require replacement.
