Having problems with your 1995 Ford Escort ?

The rear turn signal and brake lights on my 95 Cad. STS aren't working. The front flasher is on.But at twice the normal speed.I've checked all the bulbs and they're fine. What would be the next process of elimination, and how?

Answers :

On GM cars when the lights flash at a high rate of speed there is a bulb that needs replacing. Many of these bulbs have two filaments, with one burnt out the light will still turn on but the part that lets it flash is gone, it will appear fine though. You'll have to replace the rear bulb(s) as the one in the front is working still. This should solve the problem.
