Having problems with your 1995 Chevrolet Suburban ?

Vibration bad enough to make your teeth chatter. Happens at 62-70 mph. 1995 Chevy Suburban. Just had front end rebuilt, aligned and new front tires. Problem some better but not solved.

I would look at wheel balance first, then look at tailshaft balance.\015\012Next, make sure the tyres have been fitted correctly and that they have fully seated on the bead seats. I have also known tyres to be "out of round" even when new.. As we do not have this vehicle in my country (Australia) I do not know if this vehicle has a steering damper fitted. This is a small hydraulic shock absorber connected from the body to one of the steering links. If it has failed then this issue begins and you will have to replace this damper..
What was changed in the front end?

\015\012I am working on the same issue.

\015\012Found a broken left rear leaf spring.

\015\012Found a bent right rear axle. Buy from National Drivetrain. $100 per axle.

\015\012Went through shocks, drive shaft.

\015\012Still looking for the final part to replace.

\015\012I'm looking at changing the front springs. Have changed everything else. Possibly the tie rod ends.

\015\012Try to use a brass distrbutor cap, Borg Warner wires, and iridium spark plugs on your next tune up. I got a 10% increase in gas mileage on my 1993.
\015\012
\015\012I di try some lock up torque convertor chatter solution in a red tube from O Reilly's that helped a transmission issue that I had.
\015\012
\015\012I will find the solution.
