Having problems with your 1995 Chevrolet Lumina ?

I have put 5 starters on my car.They work good for 2 or 3 wks. then it's back to the click, click until it cranks.Any suggestions?

Check the earth cables from the battery and chassis to the engine block. Most people check the power cables, but forget the earth cable.
You are looking for a loose cable or bolt that attaches the cable to the engine block.

When you purchase the starters, do these come with a new starter solenoid or do you put your old one on. Also, if you are getting the whole starter and solenoid, the battery could have a bad connection and burning the contacts up in the solenoid. Check all of the cables to and from your battery to the solenoid. A bad ground can cause a solenoid not to kick out and turn the starter over.
