Alarm problem on 94 jeep gcl

\015 I have a 1994 jeep grand cherokee laredo 4x4, and I just had a new radiator installed saturday. I went to a friends house tonight (monday night) and all the doors were locked and the alarm is going off for no reason whatsoever. so I went out and unlocked the hatch as I have no remotes to it. I've NEVER had this issue with the alarm before, just going off. I got home, locked the car again, and 10 minutes later, the alarm is going off. what is going on with it??\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 21-08-2017

Check the switch contacts on your doors, and in the door locks. Might be a door switch that has a short in it causing the alarm to go off. There is a diagnostic mode you can run to check the door switches and the alarm triggers. Disabling the timed dome light relay will help you a lot, as you will have to wait till the lights shut off before you try another contact. Check out this website on about.com. It will show you how to run the test on the contacts and switches in the alarm system module:\015\012
