Having problems with your 1994 Chevrolet Camaro ?

Is it okay to by-pass just ONE heater hose on my 1994 camaro Z28. The hose broke right at the flow fitting.

Answers :

No - you must bypass both hoses by joining them together to keep the system closed. If, for example, you have 5/8 inch heater hoses, you can buy an adapter that will fit into both sides of the heater hose to bypass the heater core. It's easiest to pull both hoses off the firewall and then put the adapter there, making sure to tighten the clamps so you don't lose coolant and overheat your vehicle.. I'm not too sure where the break is by your description, but you have to make sure there are no unconnected hoses or you will lose all of your coolant
Hope this helps!
