Having problems with your 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee ?

We have a vacume type hose coming out of the front differiental. (4x4) Don't know if this hose is to be connected too?

I believe this is an overflow pipe/valve that relieves pressure in the differential if it gets overfilled or the oil gets hot and expands. Kind of a "safety valve"... It isn't connected to anything.
