Having problems with your 1993 Ford F250 ?

1998 f-250 manual transfer case can't shift into 4 wheel. Very Very hard to move lever at all. Had fluid changed at 100,000 miles

If you don't use the 4 wheel drive on a regular basis on those trucks, the lever corrodes at the pivot bolt. If you force it, it will break, try to spray some penetrating oil on the pivot bolt, you will have to do that from under the truck. Get a helper to move the lever while you spray. If you get it to move easier you might want to take the pivot bolt out and clean with a wire brush or sand paper and clean the hole on the lever too. There is a linkage bar that you can pop off with a screw driver or bar, the nylon bushings are supposed to stay with the linkage bar. There should be nylon bushings in the lever too, clean everything up good and put some grease on it, grease the linkage bar too. You should be able to use a plier to pop the linkage bar back on, lube makes it go easier.
