Try checking the fan by unplugging it then using a jumper wire connect one end to the positive and another to the negative directly from the battery.the fan should run smoothly and at the accurate speed using 12 volts. if it does not run, the fan motor is bad and has to be replaced. if it does run, a relay or fuse may be breaking the circuit. check the fuse box inside the cab and the relay fuse box under the hood.
