Having problems with your 1992 Toyota Corolla ?

John, I wouldn't use a 50/50 aintifreeze mix, I would put atleast one full gallon(regular full size bottle) of regular antifreeze in your car and add the rest water until it is full under operating temp. then take it to a local shop and ask them to test the antifreeze freeze level, it should be ok . that is what I run here in Texas and have run the same in colder climates as Indiana and michigan. I say this because if you drained the block out, and add a 50/50 mix and then add water to it, you will dilute the solution even more so and it will NOT be ok when winter comes, it will freeze in your engine block and might crack the block.
