Hi I have a 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix and the heater blower motor does not work, if I turn the ignition on and the blower motor is in off position my headlights come on. when I turn the blower motor to the 1st setting the lights go off but the blower motor does not work. I have a 2000 Toyota Echo and need to access the heater blower fan. The filter apparently fell in the squirrel cage and became confetti. After removing the glove box and 5 or 6 screws on the outside of the heater box, I still can not figure out how to get inside to change the heater blower motor? I vacumed out the box as good as possible throught the filter door and replaces the filter but the motor makes a loud noise on high and does not work efficiently.
