Having problems with your 1991 Buick Century ?

I turned my 91 Buick Century off at a restaurant and when we came back out it wouldn't crank. The motor turns over but it just won't start. I hear the fuel pump come on when I turn the key so I know it's not that. Could it be a clogged fuel filter?

Answers :

I doubt it's the fuel filter. They normally will cause a running problem before they keep an engine from starting. I would be more inclined to suspect the crank sensor or ignition module. It would take some diagnosing to determine the exact problem. You don't indicate whether it's a 4 cylinder or V6.
