Answers :

Check the fuel pressure, also change the fuel filter.check the crankshaft sensor,or replace. It sounds more like the tps sensor(throttle position sensor). It is mounted in line with the throttle axle,on the throttle horn.Of course .with out being there and checking I am just guessing. But map sensor or mass air flow sensor could also cause this.Have you checked the air filter? This will cause the problem,if it is stopped up restricting air flow to engine and mass air flow.,map sensor, and vacuums needed to run the car.If I can help, let me know.

I keep getting the check engine light on in my 2004 Hyundai Sonata with 2.7 v6. Computer says P0340 camshaft position sensor circuit malfunction. I actually replaced the cam position sensor but I still get the error codes. It actually has acted so bad that it says cylinders 1, 3, and 5 are misfiring. In the Haynes manual it says on V6 engines there are 2 cam position sensors, I can only find the one I replaced. I also gave it a tune up with new plugs and wires, all gaps were correct as well. So

My '97 plymouth breeze died while driving down the road. had it towed to one shop who said there was no compression and the engine was dead, so brought it to another who said there was compression, then looked it over and said the computer was burnout, and they'd also have to replace the cam sensor and the compression sensor and said it would run like new. Well after installing it they said it ran for a couple seconds then died the same way, now two weeks later they still don't know why?? any i

I have a 1989 Eagle Summit DL, 1.5 Liter Engine, which starts hard when the ambient temperature is below 70 degrees F.. It runs great after warm up but starts hard again after turning off ignition. I had the car's computer scanned which showed up with multiple sensor problems. Tested them all with an old Snap On Vantage. All tested well except idle motor speed control sensor (which I replaced)and the cam angle sensor for which I cannot find a replacement.

I replaced it to no improvement. I have replaced the coolant temp sensor, as well as the intake air temp sensor. I have replaced the computer and replaced the intake manifold gasket, thinking it might be a slight vaccuum leak. Still dies out when cold, runs great when warm. I have concluded that it is
