Rough running 86 4runner after e85 put in!

\015 1985 toyota 4runner with tons of miles but still a wonderful baby. let ******* friend borrow, filled with E85. drove few miles, died, drained tank, new gas, was running fine for about 40 miles, then hard to start, keep running, no power, 2nd gear tops, have changed fuel filter, spark plugs and wires, put seafoam and magic 108 octane boaster in, letting run now. rough, and lots of engine shake when gas is applied. some pops and backfires when let off the gas and RPM is high. what do I do next? timing? injectors? Answers :

Very likely the fuel injectors are damaged, replace them, the fuel pressure regulator and all rubber fuel lines, also pull the gas tank and replace the short rubber hose at the electric fuel pump, I know this is expensive but even a few miles of running would have wrecked havoc on the rubber components, that rubber debris will flow through the fuel system and will plug the injector's, E85 melts it and skin for that matter.
