Having problems with your 1986 Honda Accord ?

Multiple switches/multiple amplifiers

\015 Hello, I'm building a stereo system in my 1986 Honda accord. I am installing 3 Amps, i would like to install a toggle switch for each amp. how do i wiring the switches so that if i turn off one amp I don't turn off all of them? Or is there some kind of comb switch that I can buy that is already wired to do this?\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 16-10-2017

Answers :

All the amps should be wired directly to the battery, with a toggle switch on each of them. most amplifiers have a SWITCH wire as well, shich is usually wired to your ACC wire on the stereo. instead, run each SWITCH wire to a positive wire through the toggle switch. If done right, you should be able to run each amp on a separate circuit and can turn them on or off as you wish.
