\015 I have a 1985 GMC Truck. There is too much play in the steering wheel. The faster I go the worse it gets. I had a blow out 4 months ago and has steadily worsened.\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 11-12-2017

Check all your tierods and make sure that none are worn or damaged. If there ok check the rest of the suspension as well. Also check to see if all the rag joints in the steering shaft is not torn these are like a coupling with rubber in them ..all else fails wiggle the steering back and forth and have someone inspect for someting loose at the same time ....good luck
Play in the steering is most often your tie rods/ tie rod ends... Have these checked first.. Then go onto your pitman and idler arms...They can also cause play in steering...
